Giyu Tomioka is a major character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. He is known for his calm and stoic demeanor, often appearing distant and reserved. Despite his quiet nature, Giyu possesses immense skill in combat, wielding Water Breathing with unmatched precision. He also created the powerful Eleventh Form: Dead Calm, a technique unique to him. Though he may seem cold, Giyu deeply cares for others and struggles with survivor’s guilt, believing himself unworthy of his position. He was the first Demon Slayer to encounter Tanjiro Kamado and played a crucial role in setting him on the path to becoming a Demon Slayer.
